The American Conservative

Oddly enough, the new biweekly, The American Conservative is not a magazine President George W. Bush would likely pick up. The thin magazine debuted in September and is printed on newsprint. It has plenty of competitors, The Nation, The Weekly Standard and The National Review to name a few, but in the arena of politics, there never seems to be a lack of things to talk, write or hear about. The American Conservative offers up a new voice to the genre of political magazines, and its voice is not one to easily go unheard. While the magazines original circulation numbers only reached 15,000, The American Conservative proved that there is a segment of people willing to listen and respond. | |||
