After months as a Web site, Elle Girl finally made its debut on newsstands at the end of August. A close replica of its parent publication, it focuses on everything that most other girls magazines do, adding yet one more title to the rapidly spreading sea of teenage girl magazines. Elle Girl, however, makes its mark by flaunting its fashion finesse as opposed to other magazines of its genre that market make-up, hairstyles, and boy advice. While Elle Girl has all those as well, their primary goal is to promote modern trends via clothes instead of suggesting ways to change ones physical appearance. It will be interesting to see how this magazine fares alongside its numerous competitors; its creative presentation and different approach should, however, prove formidable.
