The teen magazine market is burgeoning with new titles, but mostly they are fashion magazines targeting a younger audience or gaming magazines preying on kids fascination with video games. Now, with a new target in mind, the editors of the newest teen magazine, Boy Crazy!, are targeting teenage girls where they are most vulnerable. The editorial content, filled primarily with pictures of boys ranging in age from thirteen to twenty, is designed to take readers on "a journey into boys heads"as if a magazine were the only way to do thatwith articles written by boys that explain everything about how a guy thinks and why he does what he does. And, as if the world of boys wasnt confusing enough to teenage girls, the magazine, in its first issue, has four different covers, each one dedicated to either "One of the Top Boys of the Year" or "The Boy of the Year." Boy Crazy! may have a short-lived term on the newsstands.
