These four young men single handedly changed they way Americans perceived music and pop-culture in the modern sense. Millions of words have been written about the spearheads of the British Invasion so what could possibly be left to cover, right? Not exactly, Uncut has re-published original reviews, interviews & photos from the archives of New Musical Express the world's "longest running and best-selling weekly music newspaper," telling a week-by-week story of the "greatest pop group ever." Divided into 8 chapters, the magazine takes readers from the week of Sept. 21, 1962 to Dec. 12 1970 from inside the pages of New Musical Express. NME, worked in a close relationship with the Beatles while they rose to top of the music charts, which is what makes the articles so personal and revealing. Something that is quite, "unthinkable" of music journalism in today's pop star world. Originals launched their magazine to commemorate the 50th anniversary of NME.
