Heres an interesting launch concept. The first issue of Anime Invasion, launched as a one-shot in July, was a test to see if the readers of Wizard Entertainments other publications could use another animation magazine. They did, and Anime Invasion, the quarterly publication, is the result. The concept of the magazine centers around showcasing all that is popular in the world of Japanimation and even includes a directory of places to buy the enormously popular Japanese comic books. Anime Invasion is one great example of how magazines themselves, not just the companies that own them, are going global, and they will grow increasingly more so.
