The city that is roughly seven miles by seven miles now has a new addition. The city that has defined much of Americas pop culture over the yearsthe Beat generation, hippies, and dot-commers to name a fewhas a publication dedicated to all that is interesting about San Francisco. So named for the unusual geographic dimensions of the city on which it focuses, 7x7 highlights the variety of life that exists in the city with quality far exceeding that of most first issues. Remarkable layout and design and vivid photography are only two of the positive attributes of the magazine, and no doubt their first issue will set a precedent for following issues. Perhaps the only drawback to the magazine is that there are so few people, outside the San Francisco area, that will be able to enjoy and appreciate this really well-designed publication. | |||
